Episode VII is set about 30 years after the events of Star Wars: Episode VI Return of the Jedi, and will star a trio of new young leads along with some very familiar faces. He is seen speaking to this massive legion of Stormtroopers.

Shattered Empire #1 will be out September 2nd-go to the link below to see a few more preview pages and more from Rucka. The figure at the front is probably General Hux, Domhnall Gleeson’s character, while behind him is Captain Phasma (Gwendoline Christie), wearing a black robe, and a bunch of other Imperial higher ups. He could also be the one at center stage, although it seems more likely that this might be Andy Serkis in his performance-capture role of Supreme Leader Snoke.

The rest is a different edit of shots we’ve already seen. Hopefully that J.J. Abrams’ reconsidering of the adored adventure satisfies the buildup when it hits theaters in December. Or perhaps the first clip with actual dialogue exchanged between characters? It’s four months and eight days out and we now have our first Star Wars: The Force Awakens television spot.
