Bomb squad probes possible blast near Olympic road race

The Sydney Morning Herald reports a bullet came ripping through the media room at the Deodora equestrian center and landed near a photographer Saturday. No one was hurt, but the bullet left a hole in the tent’s roof.

Eventers Tim Price and Sir Mark Todd were competing at the venue.

Abbott said media had been advised by a police officer assigned to the team to gather in a workroom to await further advice.
