The first “Secret Life of Pets” has grossed $300.3 million at the domestic box office, also made $103.5 million internationally. Prepare to see more pet-filled sequels in the future.

The sequel to Illumination Entertainment and Universal Pictures’ animated hit “The Secret Life of Pets” is already in development.
“‘Secret Life of Pets’ spells good news for original ideas in Hollywood”, Ms. Doty wrote. That figure checked in at $104 million, and the total worldwide cume for Secret Life of Pets is now somewhere north of $400 million. “In the wake of “Despicable Me 1″ & ‘2″ and ‘Minions, ‘ audiences have come to expect a hysterical, satirical toon at this time of year”.
According to Movie Fone, there is no plot yet.

“The Secret Life of Pets 2” is set for release on July 13, 2018. Director Chris Rinaud and writer Brian Lynch will return for the sequel, but no information was released about which members of the cast will be back.
