Micromax Canvas Unite 4 Plus launched at Rs 7999
Micromax, India’s No. 2 smartphone maker, has launched Unite 4 Plus as part of its Canvas Unite Series at Rs 7999. The company does have a new handset to unveil from its Canvas lineup however with the recently revealed Micromax Canvas Unite 4 Plus. It will be available in Champagne, Grey, and Silver colour variants.

As for the specifications, Micromax Canvas Unite 4 Plus has a 5-inch HD display with 720×1280 pixel resolution.
Like Unite 4 and Unite 4pro, Micromax Unite 4 Plus comes with a refreshed Indus OS 2.0 which supports 12 regional languages, including the newly added Urdu and Assamese.
Indus OS has a wider install base than iOS in India, according to recent data from Counterpoint Research. The Handset runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system out of the box and supports dual-SIM with 4G connectivity.
The smartphone comes out into the markets with a 1GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6735P processor, which is supported by 2GB of RAM.
The Micromax Unite 4 Plus sports an 8-megapixel rear autofocus camera with flash, and a 5-megapixel front-facing fixed-focus camera. Micromax is offering seven-day service or replacement warranty for its smartphones in the Unite 4 series. It houses 2500mAh battery capacity with talk time up to 20h and stand by time up to 281hours. There is 4G LTE connectivity apart from the other standard connectivity options. It also has patented word predictions, matra predictions and auto-correction features offering a user-friendly smartphone experience.

It is also well packaged with features such as Indus swipe, hybrid keyboard, text-to-speech, and Indus’ regional language app marketplace that is App Bazaar. The App Bazaar on Indus OS allows users to download and pay for apps without email IDs and credit cards which is of great relief to those buyers who do not have e-mail IDs and credit cards.
