Meet the Civilization VI Leader of Brazil
In Civilization VI, “Magnanimous” is Pedro II’s special power.

Pedro II is the man in charge of Brazil. Pedro II will be familiar to Civilization V players after he was first introduced in the Brave New World expansion pack.
Groomed for rule from the age of five after his father abdicated the throne and fled to Europe, Pedro II was known for his strong devotion to his people despite his resentment towards the monarchy that robbed him of so much of his childhood. Brazil is also the only empire that will have access to the Carnival District, which looks pretty damn groovy. It allows him to recoup some of the cost when recruiting or patronising a “Great Person”. Once this is built, players can then start to build the Carnival City Project which turns production into extra amenities. Once complete, the Carnivale project awards additional Great Person points. The nation’s unique unit is the Minas Gerais, a ship that focuses on defending against naval combat from afar. The developers over at Firaxis want to show you the advantages of Brazil in the upcoming Civilization game.
Last but not the least, Brazil also receives adjacency bonuses for every district built near a rain forest.
