Jeffrey Hazelwood’s arrest comes after officers on Wednesday executed a search warrant at the home in nearby Cobb County, about three miles from the Publix store, Roswell police Det. The local police have recovered two vehicles, apparently owned or related to both teenagers.
Grant says police are unsure of the motive, but they believe Hazelwood acted alone.

The funeral service for Natalie Anne Henderson, the 17-year-old Roswell High School student killed Monday behind a Publix grocery store, will be held on Friday.
The deaths of Natalie Henderson of Roswell and Carter Davis of Woodstock, both 17, have been ruled homicides.

“I am happy that Roswell police are starting to find something that fast, I believe it is positive that they are on top of [the case] and that they are being aggressive to find out what happened to these kids”, Kurkjian said.
Henderson and Davis were discovered by a delivery driver around 6 a.m. Monday with severe head trauma. It listed that the teens were both injured by gunfire. Carter was a senior at River Ridge High School, where he played football and lacrosse and “excelled in the classroom and was always willing to help out classmates”, Principal C. Darrell Herring wrote in a letter to parents Monday.
Grief counselors were at both schools Tuesday to assist teachers and students. Any people in the area, especially between 2 to 3 a.m., who may have seen anything are asked to contact police. He called the investigation still one that was very active. He should be enjoying the first days of his senior year of high school, which is a special time for every child and family.
