Isaac Brock failed to stop Wednesday as he approached traffic that was stopped near the Morrison Bridge in downtown Portland, police spokesman Sgt. Pete Simpson told The Oregonian newspaper/OregonLive (http://goo.gl/cUY2an ).
Brock told responding officers that he had fallen asleep and was evaluated for signs of intoxication.
Police determined he had not been driving under the influence and was not arrested.
Isaac Brock of Modest Mouse performs live for fans at the 2016 Byron Bay Bluesfest on March 27, 2016 in Byron Bay, Australia. There were reportedly no serious injuries.
As previously reported, Brock made Portland-related headlines a year ago when he insulted the city during an interview with a Polish website, dismissing his residence there as “kind of an accident” and describing living in it as “exhausting”.
Brock and Modest Mouse headlined the Moda Center earlier this eek. “And that’s just Portland keeping itself weird”.
