Donald Trump Endorses Paul Ryan in Wisconsin
At the rally, Trump officially endorsed the re-election of Ryan, McCain, and Ayotte, all of whom had, among others in the Republican Party, criticized his behavior with regard to the Khans last week.

“We will have disagreements, but we will disagree as friends and never stop working together toward victory, and very importantly toward real change, ” the billionaire businessman said.
It was a stunning reversal for Trump, whose attacks on fellow Republicans and refusal to admit mistakes has defined his candidacy.
Paul Ryan and other elected Republicans haven’t held back criticism for Trump either.
The endorsements represent a 180-degree turn for the Republican presidential nominee, who earlier this week indicated that he was “not quite” ready to back Ryan.
House Speaker Paul Ryan’s challenger gained national attention this week, after Donald Trump took his time throwing his support behind the House Speaker.
“And I fully support and endorse his re-election”, said Trump. John McCain of Arizona and Kelly Ayotte of New Hampshire.
The divides in the GOP are deep, but Trump’s endorsement of Paul Ryan, John McCain and Kelly Ayotte may signal moves to bridge the divide and present a unified front against Hillary Clinton. “I look presidential”, he said to supporters at a rally in Windham, N.H.
Mr. Ryan had no plans to attend the event, in a sign of lingering frictions between them.
Ryan endorsed Trump in June, but they have clashed since then.
“In the intelligence business, we would say that Mr Putin had recruited Mr Trump as an unwitting agent of the Russian Federation”, he said.
The tale of two states underscores Trump’s mounting challenges during one of the most tumultuous weeks of his unorthodox campaign.
“All my life I’ve been told, ‘You have the greatest temperament, ‘” he said. “And she’s unbalanced. Totally unbalanced”, Trump said.
He added: “In another way she’s a weak person”.
Donald Trump doled out a litany of verbal assaults against Hillary Clinton on Saturday night, questioning whether the former secretary of State looks presidential and raising doubts about her ability to lead as fallout continues from her use of a personal email server while at the State Department.
The charges came soon after Clinton addressed her own political vulnerabilities while facing a group of minority journalists in Washington. Still, Ryan’s campaign said in a statement “he appreciates the gesture”.
Donald Trump is drawing tens of thousands to his rallies. “He made a deal with the devil”. At the time, Ryan had said, “I’m not there right now”, in an interview on CNN.
Trump also thumbed his nose at Ayotte, citing her lack of direct support.

Ryan, who has criticized aspects of Trump’s campaign, replied that his endorsement of the NY businessman is not a blank check, and “if I see and hear things that I think are wrong, I’m not going to sit by and say nothing”.
