Trump looks to right campaign ship
Republican Donald Trump took steps to steer his White House campaign back into favor with his party establishment on Friday by endorsing House of Representatives Speaker Paul Ryan and two Republican senators seeking re-election, after expressing coolness toward them earlier in the week. According to the new McClatchy-Marist poll, Clinton now has the support of 48 percent of the potential voters as against Trump’s 33 percent.

The poll tracks closely with a poll reported this week by the Detroit News and WDIV-TV, which showed Clinton leading Trump by 41%-32%. Green Party candidate Jill Stein received less than 5 percent support from young adults of all racial and ethnic groups. Clinton was speaking to the National Association of Black Journalists and the National Association of Hispanic Journalists during their annual conference in Washington.
Bernie Sanders (D-VT). As Republican opponent Donald Trump appeared to implode all week from a devastating string of self-inflicted wounds, Clinton was riding on a wave of positive post-convention polling news averaging her from six to 12 percentage points ahead of Trump.
Following the Democratic National Convention, Clinton has had a good week overall. While questions about Trump’s bigotry and Clinton’s relationships with black women were interesting, the fact that there wasn’t more of an opportunity for tough questions was a significant.
The interview was conducted by First Coast anchor Angelia Savage, who used to work for the billionaire businessman at the Trump Organization.
“I have said during the interview and in many other occasions over the past months that what I told the Federal Bureau of Investigation [in a private interview], which he said was truthful, is consistent with what I said publicly”, Clinton said.
During her remarks, Clinton praised the work of the media. “She is such a weak candidate that one would think we’d be on offense against Hillary Clinton, and it is distressing that that’s not what we’re talking about these days”.
During a 2012 presidential debate, the former MA governor mentioned receiving binders of resumes from women seeking jobs with the state.
Donald Trump is an ungrateful man.
” “The numbers had him up not long ago”. “I think it is a widening of what Americans see as leadership and that is why it is important”.
” The NBC-WSJ poll of 800 registered voters had a margin of error of 3″. The last such huddle was on July 31 in Ashland, Ohio. McClatchy had 1,132 adults which included 983 registered (not likely) voters.
Trump surrogate Ben Carson told CNN’s Wolf Blitzer in a Friday interview that he believes Trump “will come on board” with Ryan, though he did not specify when.
Trump’s approach to national security came under fire Friday as well, with former CIA Director Michael Morell contending the Republican nominee would make “a poor, even unsafe commander in chief”.
Trump as an unwitting agent of the Russian Federation. While some tried to deride him for being little more than the Trump “cleanup crew”, Pence called the late Capt. Humayun Khan “an American hero” and added that the gold-star Khan family should be “cherished by every American”.
“Clinton is highly qualified to be commander in chief”, Morell wrote.
But she also blamed political foes, saying, “Maybe when I’m actually running for a job there is a real benefit to those on the other side in trying to stir up as much concern as possible”.
Trump is not only unqualified for the job, but he may well pose a threat to our national security.
“There’s clearly a healthy lead for Hillary and it’s showing the same pattern many other states are showing after the Trump campaign’s recent difficulties”, said EPIC-MRA’s pollster, Bernie Porn.

The Republican presidential candidate has repeatedly proposed banning Muslims from entering the United States on counterterrorism grounds. Clinton said that she may have “short circuited” her description of what happened.
