Both were found dead in a second-floor unit of the Forest Garden Apartments in the 100 block of Forest Avenue, where the two lived, the DA said.
The county coroner’s office completed autopsies Monday and determined that both victims died of multiple gunshot wounds.
The incident occurred at about 11:15 p.m. on Sunday, the DA said. Their deaths were ruled homicides.
Police surrounded a vehicle at the scene and had it towed away, but haven’t said how it might have been related to the shooting.

Pistilli, who said he had occasionally seen Trunk around the apartment complex but never spoke to her, said he was surprised by the shootings. Anyone with information that may helpful to the investigation is asked to call Ambler Police or the Montgomery County D.A.’s office.
