Swansea target Fernando Llorente as replacement for West Ham-bound Andre Ayew

West Ham are reportedly one of those onlookers and reports suggest Slaven Bilic is keen on bringing the Ghana worldwide to the Olympic Stadium after failing in repeated attempts to bring other attacking options in.

The Hammers also explored the possibility of signing Jamie Vardy from Leicester City prior to the striker signing a new contract, and have now turned their attentions to the versatile Ayew, who can play on the wing and through the middle.

Fellow EPL side West Ham United have reportedly made a £20m (over $26m) bid for the Swansea City forward, according to media sources in the United Kingdom.

The Ghana worldwide, who is contracted to Swansea until 2019, is one of only two senior forwards at the club following the departure of Bafetimbi Gomis to Marseille on a season-long loan. He went on to score 12 goals during his debut season in the Premier League.

West Ham have already signed attacking midfielder Gokhan Tore and Sofiane Feghouli this summer and as such it remains to be seen what exact role Ayew would have should he move to the London Stadium.
