Donald Trump Does a 180 to Endorse Paul Ryan
Donald Trump is expected to endorse House Speaker Paul Ryan on Friday, moving to mend an intra-party rift that has put the Republican presidential nominee at odds with its highest-ranking elected official.

“His negative image among Hispanics, women and independents is something that could be devastating to Republicans”, said another.
Should Trump win, Pence, a former congressman, could serve as a conduit to the US Congress.
“But I need a Republican Senate and a House to accomplish all of the changes that we have to make”, Trump told supporters. “We already know what will happen because it’s already passed”, she told a questioner.
During her remarks, Clinton praised President Obama’s economic efforts during the Great Recession, but she said there was still work to do. The Harvard Republican Club announced Thursday that it will not endorse the GOP nominee for the first time in 128 years.
But Ryan’s “we” may not include a majority of Republican voters at this point. “It’s just that simple”, Ryan said in an interview on the “Jerry Bader Show” on WTAQ radio in Green Bay, Wisconsin. “He retweets white nationalists”. “Refusing to cut ties with Trump could potentially tarnish the GOP label for years to come”. “And if Trump loses, it makes Ryan the head of all the king’s horses and men”.
Palin backed Nehlen in May in response to Ryan saying he wasn’t yet ready to support Trump.
Trump on Friday evening said in Wisconsin that he would back Ryan in his Republican primary against Paul Nehlen, a little-known challenger.
If Hillary Clinton had said that, she’d be under five separate Republican-led House investigations.
Meanwhile, thanks to a strong post-DNC bump, Clinton is now significantly ahead of Trump in national polls.
“That’s how I think about it and that’s how I’m going to try in this campaign to respond to and rebuke all of the disgusting things he (Trump) says on a pretty regular basis, but not about me, I could care less about that”, Clinton said responding to a question about her Republican rival.
Donald Trump has announced his team of economic advisers and it includes numerous people who have been already helping his campaign.
By attempting to mend fences with the GOP establishment, Trump made another attempt to pivot after a week dominated by internal struggles and Trump’s battle with the Muslim Khan family, whose son was killed in Iraq while serving in the US Army.
Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid, speaking to reporters after introducing Clinton at a campaign event in his home state of Nevada, said he is anxious Democrats could become overconfident.
Trump also defended himself against what he called the news media’s claim that he kicked a baby out of an event earlier this week in Virginia. “While I can not bring myself to vote for Hillary Clinton, I stand by my Trump statement of last December”. The next day, Trump’s running mate, Mike Pence, endorsed Ryan, saying Trump encouraged him to do so. When the crowd booed, he added, “No, he’s a good guy”.
A small team is working on Republican outreach at Clinton’s campaign headquarters in Brooklyn, largely focused on fielding calls from Republicans interested in giving money and helping with fundraising.
Trump, who dropped in several polls in his race with Clinton, also withheld his endorsement for House Speaker Paul Ryan who is seeking reelection, causing further distractions. Sean Spicer told the Hill that, “Donald Trump is the nominee of the Republican Party, full-stop”.
“He says it like it is, and he will make America great again”, Pence said.
“She is such a weak candidate that one would think that we would be on offense against Hillary Clinton, and it is distressing that that’s not what we’re talking about these days”, Ryan said. “You open the door to so many problems”. “When confronted about these frequent reversals, Trump lies in a manner more brazen and shameless than anything politics has ever seen”.

“And I would go back to where I started, I regret using one account, I have taken responsibility for that”, Clinton said.
