Hope Solo greeted with jeers of ‘Zika! Zika’ in Olympic opener

Hope Amelia Solo “Hope Solo” was born July 30,1981, is an American soccer goalkeeper, a two-time Olympic Gold Medalist, and a World Cup gold medalist. “So what goes on around me in the stadium, honestly it doesn’t matter”, she said. Solo started and played all possible minutes (630) in all seven of the U.S.’ matches, and the USA won the tournament, with record-breaking television viewership that topped 750 million in-home TV viewers. Every time Solo had time with the ball, or set up to take a goal kick, the fans began a crescendoing chorus of whistles and roars. While the team was cooling down in the end zone area, the crowd could be heard chanting “Hope!”

Having said that….are you really sure you want to be using the ZIKA VIRUS as a selling point of your country? “I think in that regards we put our best foot forward and got that goal and I think that helped propel us throughout the game”.

Solo’s career began with a comfortable blowout, but she’s made countless spectacular saves over the years to earn a US goalkeeper record 151 wins against increasingly competitive worldwide competition. “She’s always good for the US even when the team is in hard times”. The image shows her wearing a scarf around her mouth and nose, as well as a layer of net, while holding a giant-sized bottle of insect repellent.

Hope Solo received harsh treatment from the crowd.

It is important to know that the “zika children” are born with underdeveloped heads.

“You look back in 2004 in Greece, and the same thing there, bad publicity surrounding the Games, and China as well”, she said.

The catalyst for the jeers was a pair of ill-conceived, half-serious tweets from two weeks ago regarding Solo’s efforts to combat Zika – the virus that’s frightened many Olympic-goers this year – while in Brazil. She brings light to the numerous issues that the female soccer league needs to address and when you take the time to notice, you, too, would agree that big changes are needed.
