Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton speaks at the 2016 National Association of Black Journalists’ and National Association of Hispanic Journalists’ Hall of Fame Luncheon at Marriott Wardman Park in Washington, Fr.
The rally is being held on a Friday night opposite the opening ceremonies of the Olympics.
The new GenForward poll of young Americans ages 18-30 also finds both Clinton and Donald Trump viewed negatively by a majority of those polled.
In the must win state of Florida over the past three weeks it has gone from too close to call to a big lead for Democrat Hillary Clinton.
“We have to unite”, Trump said.
Like Ryan, state Assembly Speaker Vos said he’s not pulling his endorsement of Trump because he believes Clinton would be worse.
“We will have disagreements”.
It was an unusual gesture for Trump, who is known for his refusal to admit mistakes and his tendency to double down when he’s under attack. Far from trying to reunite the party, and unlike his running mate Mike Pence, he refused to support Paul Ryan, who faces a primary in his district next week.
Finally, while many US voters will not publicly declare for Trump as he’s been branded a racist and demagogue – they will vote for him in the anonymity of the voting booth. In an interview with CBS’s Charlie Rose in July, Clinton used the word unsafe to describe Trump. Trump is still very much in contention in this presidential race. This news story is related to Latest/140790-Trump-ends-difficult-week-by-focusing-on-Hillary-Clinton/ – breaking news, latest news, pakistan ne. Kelly Ayotte and Democratic senate candidate Gov. Maggie Hassan, a new WBUR poll conducted after the Democratic National Convention showed Hassan with a ten-point edge over Ayotte.
Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker skipped the evening rally, preferring to attend all-you-can-eat spaghetti dinner instead of appearing with his party’s standard bearer. He has skipped from one misstep to the next, sparking a fresh wave of Republican defections among longtime party loyalists who refuse to support their presidential nominee – including some who even publicly support for Democrat Clinton.
Trump’s mention of Clinton was met with frequent chants of “lock her up” and other insults from the crowd.
“Hillary Clinton is once again proving herself incapable of telling the truth to the nation”, said Reince Priebus, Republican National Committee chairman. She attacked Trump on his remarks toward Muslims and other immigrants.
“In one way, she’s a monster”.
“She is a totally unhinged person”, Trump said.
Still, analysis by influential number cruncher FiveThirtyEight.com showed Clinton with a strong probability of winning the presidential election in November. There, Johnson could help to highlight concerns about how a President Donald Trump or a President Hillary Clinton might misuse federal power.
But she added, “I think the core of his support really centers on the disappointment in the economy that so many Americans feel. So I may have short-circuited, and for that I, you know, will try to clarify”.

Emphasizing the historic nature of her husband’s presidency, and of Mrs. Clinton’s nomination, Mrs. Obama noted that, “I wake up every morning in a house that was built by slaves”.
