Berlin hospital shooting: Patient shoots doctor before turning gun on himself
The doctor sustained life-threatening injuries and is now in intensive care, said police.

German police said shots were fired at a university clinic in Steglitz, a southwestern district of Berlin, at around 11:00 GMT on Tuesday.
After the shooting, the gunman then killed himself, Berlin Police said.
A patient shot and critically wounded a doctor at a Berlin hospital Tuesday before turning the gun on himself, police said.
An anti-terrorist unit was deployed to a clinic at Charité University’s Benjamin Franklin campus, which is one of Europe’s largest hospitals.
The doctor is said to have suffered serious injuries.
“We have no evidence of more injured people or more suspects”, the police added.
Last Friday, a German-Iranian teenager shot dead nine people in a McDonald’s restaurant and nearby Munich shopping centre.
Germany is now on edge following a spate of violent attacks since July 18.

Earlier on Sunday another Syrian refugee killed a pregnant woman and injured another with a machete in the town of Reutlingen near Stuttgart.
