Clinton gains confidence, Trump stirs tensions, poll says
At a rally Friday night in Wisconsin, after Clinton’s remarks earlier that day at a National Association of Black Journalists and National Association of Hispanic Journalists gathering, Trump called Clinton “unbalanced” and “unhinged”.

Democrat Hillary Clinton has widened her lead over White House rival Donald Trump to eight points after both parties’ nominating conventions, according to a Washington Post-ABC News poll out Sunday.
“You know, the writers gave her a word let’s use temperament for Trump”.
“That’s how I think about it and that’s how I’m going to try in this campaign to respond to and rebuke all of the frightful things he (Trump) says on a pretty regular basis, but not about me, I could care less about that”, Clinton said responding to a question about her Republican rival.
Trump came to New Hampshire after a troubled week in which he tangled with fellow Republican leaders and sparred verbally with the parents of a Muslim soldier who died fighting for the U.S. in Iraq in 2004.
“Unstable Hillary Clinton, lacks the judgment, temperament and moral character to lead this country – and I believe that so strongly”, Trump told supporters as he accused Clinton of supporting policies that he said could damage USA national security.
FBI Director James Comey declined to recommend charges against Clinton over her emails and the Justice Department agreed with him – even as he leveled blistering criticism of Clinton for using private servers.
The fact that Clinton made the Debbie Wasserman Schultz an “honorary chair” of her campaign after she was forced to resign her position as DNC chair, in light of the leaked emails, further supports the notion that the DNC was never neutral.
Questioned about why a majority of voters don’t trust her, Ms. Clinton referred to her high approval ratings when she was Secretary of State and a Senator from NY.
“I encourage you to do this more often with all of us across the country – especially those news organizations who travel with you wherever you go”, the reporter said.
In another question, Clinton toed the line between condemnation of Trump’s sometimes inflammatory language toward immigrants and minorities and risking alienation of his support base.
Eternally endearing themselves to people who spend a lot of time looking at polls, CNN and its partner ORC surveyed before, between and after the two parties’ conventions last month.
Eager to change their minds, Trump unleashed a torrent of insults at Clinton. So I may have short-circuited it, and for that, I, you know, will try to clarify, because I think Chris Wallace and I were probably talking past each other because of course, he could only talk to what I had told the Federal Bureau of Investigation and I appreciated that.
“I take it seriously”, she said.

On Saturday morning, Trump turned to Twitter, a favorite means for his largely unfiltered attacks.
