Harvard Republican Club Won’t Endorse Donald Trump

Rep. Richard Hanna, a retiring GOP lawmaker from NY, became the first Republican in Congress to say he would vote for Clinton over Trump this week. He also praised Ryan’s opponent, Paul Nehlen, for running “a very good campaign”.

“Mr. Trump did this for party unity and I applaud him for that”, Nehlen said. Kelly Ayotte, with whom he has sparred.

Ryan endorsed Trump in early June, but only after publicly deliberating over the decision, telling reporters in May that he was “not quite there yet”.

“We’ll have a press conference when we want to have a press conference”, Joel Benenson, Clinton’s chief strategist, said last month.

“I’d rather take our chances with almost anyone else than continue with this certain loser who will likely cost the Senate and much more”.

“I have a thing”, he said. Many Republicans, including Ryan, McCain and Ayotte, were critical of Trump’s insistent attacks on the parents.

Having refused to endorse the speaker earlier in the week, Trump said, “We have to unite” as he vowed to support Ryan in next week’s primary contest.

Trump also threw his support behind Arizona Sen. This has some pundits and operatives speculating whether – or when – Republican leaders will begin explicitly making the argument that Trump is likely to lose and voters should vote to keep the Senate red as a check on President Clinton’s power. And I’m just not quite there.

Trump’s endorsements came more than 10 minutes after he began reading his statement, cutting in several times to offer tangential remarks – from again rehashing an incident involving a crying baby at a recent rally to touting the strength of his fundraising. Just days after Ryan’s endorsement of Trump, Ryan said that Trump’s comments directed toward a federal judge of Mexican descent involving the judge’s impartiality was “textbook racism”.

Trump’s campaign said his economic advisory panel included former steel executive Dan DiMicco; Howard Lorber, CEO of tobacco company Vector Group Ltd; and Trump campaign finance chairman and investment manager Steven Mnuchin.

The Harvard Republican Club, the nation’s oldest College Republicans chapter, will not endorse Donald Trump – the first time in its 128 years the club has not supported the GOP nominee.

The Indiana governor and Republican vice presidential candidate pet some cows, surveyed the fair grounds and handed out milkshakes Friday at the opening day of the Indiana State Fair.

“The economy the media and the Clinton Machine is describing is an economy that doesn’t exist for most Americans”, Trump said.

Donald Trump is making a rare admission he was wrong – in claiming he saw a video of a USA cash payment going to Iran.

Trump has been expressing outrage about a $400 million payment the USA made to Iran this year.

“This is not the U.S. Constitution”, said Ryan.

Trump conceded Friday he was wrong to claim repeatedly in recent days that he saw a video of a US cash payment going to Iran.

Trump said Wednesday he saw a “top secret” video showing the money being delivered.
