Analysts predict Suicide Squad will earn around $133 million domestically from the entire weekend, putting it in the top five openings of 2016. I can hear you already typing away about how I’m wrong and how DC’s latest release it still a fun movie despite all its faults. We have other articles detailing all the big reveals and secret Easter egg references packed into the movie, so now it’s time to discuss one particular element of the film that could lead to some exciting new things.

There was more of Jared Leto’s Joker in DC’s Suicide Squad movie, but you probably won’t ever see it. There is plenty of immodesty and it’s possible you see more of a man’s backside then you’ll feel comfortable with, but if you’ve noticed the marketing for the film you should have a pretty good handle on what to expect when it comes to costuming.

They’ve reached the end of striking a deal for Amanda Waller to share her intel on known metahumans in exchange for Bruce helping keep the whole Enchantress/Suicide Squad debacle quiet. When one character jokes that she is “God”, his jab works because she is indeed all-powerful – so much so that, despite her heinous actions, she alone among the major evildoers never receives her ultimate comeuppance.

Suicide Squad is also doing well over seas with a current $29.6 million.
The “Suicide Squad” has PG-13 rating, so, it makes possible for it to get an impressive start overseas. Suicide Squad’s critical response has been poor, but not as poor as BvS, so there’s still hope that the movie could defy the precedent set by its DC Extended Universe predecessor.
In addition to the three above categories, there’s a darkness to “Suicide Squad” that is usually reserved for older audiences.

But the real movie to compare the film to is the new Ghostbusters. But while both were relatively middling films, Ghostbusters received the feminist bump in reviews while Suicide Squad got absolutely hammered. As the characters often state themselves, there is no honor among thieves.
