Dramatic Video Of Emirates Plane Bursting Into Flame After Crash Landing
The United Arab Emirates’ General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) will produce a preliminary report into the August 3 crash of an Emirates Airline Boeing 777-300 at Dubai International Airport within a month, the regulator said August 4.

The airport authorities report that all 282 passengers and 18 crew members are safe.
The Boeing 777 departed Thiruvananthapuram at 10:19 a.m. and was scheduled to land at 12:50 p.m. local time, according to Emirates.
Video shot inside an Emirates aircraft moments after a crash landing on August 3 shows passengers struggling to get luggage from bins as the cabin fills with smoke.
Emirates is the largest single operator of the Boeing 777, as well as the Airbus A380 superjumbo, and expanded its fleet to 250 aircraft a year ago.
Mr Learmount said the crew acted in line with protocol by evacuating all passengers. Fourteen people were admitted to hospital.
“Leave everything. Leave the bags”, a man calls out, telling people to use the inflatable slide to evacuate the plane. Meanwhile, Emirates Airline has urged passengers to check the status of their flight before arriving at the airport.
In May, an EgyptAir flight from Paris-Cairo descended 37,000 feet killing all 66 passengers on board.
The chairman and CEO of Emirates airline says a firefighter was killed while responding to one of the carrier’s airplanes crash-landing in Dubai.
The Emirates Boeing 777 flight from Thiruvananthapuram, India to Dubai caught fire when it appeared to “belly flop” onto the landing strip.
The incident shut down Dubai’s airport, one of the world’s busiest, for around 4-hours, forcing the cancellation or diversion of over 300-flights.
Flights were beginning to return to normal at Dubai Airport on Thursday morning, after a delay following the fire.

In an interview with The Indian Express, passenger Abraham Thomas, who was on his way to a wedding, said many passengers felt like they were choking as smoke filled the plane. Emirates said its “main priority now is the safety and well-being of all involved”.
