Palin backed Nehlen in May in response to Ryan saying he wasn’t yet ready to support Trump. “We are Ryan Republicans here in Wisconsin, not Trump Republicans”. Ryan also emphasized his own “born-and-raised” Wisconsin roots.
“While there is a challenging issue with disparities which is evident here in Minnesota, I think the overwhelming picture shows that there is tremendous positive coming from this community”, he said. “That’s just the way the cookie crumbles”, he said. He is expected to win a challenge for his House seat in next week’s Republican primary.

“Welcome to Wisconsin, Mr. Trump, but let’s get something straight”, Wisconsin’s Assembly Speaker Robin Vos wrote in an open letter to his GOP colleagues ahead of Trump’s arrival. “I take it seriously”, she said.
Trump surrogate Ben Carson told CNN’s Wolf Blitzer in a Friday interview that he believes Trump “will come on board” with Ryan, though he did not specify when. He also praised Ryan’s opponent, Paul Nehlen, for running “a very good campaign”.
Trump said the only point of his campaign was to show how stupid and gullible many Republican voters are.
In the interview, Vos said Trump needs to apologize for his comments about Ryan.
Trump’s moves came after many Republicans urged the candidate to correct course following a tumultuous week. “The people in the background know it, the people who know her know it and she’s like an unbalanced person”. John McCain and New Hampshire Sen.
Trump also announced a new advisory team to help guide him on economic policy. It said he will focus on “empowering Americans by freeing up the necessary tools for everyone to gain economically”.
During a campaign stop in Wisconsin, Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump endorsed Rep. Paul Ryan, (R) Wisconsin, House Speaker.
After knocking himself off message repeatedly in recent weeks, stoking one controversy after the next, Trump, reading at times from prepared remarks on his podium, latched onto voters’ concerns about Clinton’s trustworthiness and honesty, and sought to amplify the controversies that have beset the Democrat’s campaign.
“We have no knowledge of this and it’s a question for their campaign”, the aide said.
Trump tweeted Friday that “The plane I saw on television was the hostage plane in Geneva, Switzerland, not the plane carrying $400 million in cash going to Iran!”
