Watch Seth Rogen Perform “Hotline Bling” in Drake’s Sweater
We’ve seen Emma Stone slay “All I Do Is Win” and Tom Cruise recreate Top Gun on The Tonight Show for Lip Sync Battle, but Seth Rogen set himself apart from the greats by enlisting the aid of The Roots.

Fallon started off the fight with a high-energy rendition of “Don’t Mind” by Kent Jones, complete with pre-planned dance moves. He chose to lip sync to Drake, he said, because of the Olympics. After that impressive display, Fallon made a decision to kick it old school with the anthemic “Slam” by Onyx. Last November, he named his favorite rap albums on social media as Wu-Tang Clan’s Enter The Wu-Tang (36 Chambers), A Tribe Called Quest’s Midnight Marauders and The Roots’ Do You Want More?!? As soon as Fallon was finished, Rogen swapped his suit jacket for a gray knit turtleneck, which can only mean one thing: “Hotline Bling”.
With both Fallon and Rogen having to enthusiastically mime two songs apiece, Rogen mixed it up a little by involving Fallon’s house band, The Roots, and lip-syncing their song, “Mellow My Man“.

This is a popular segment on Fallon’s show, but he was no match for Rogen – who stopped by to talk up Sausage Party, his new movie out August 12 – as the comedian succeeded in not only surprising the audience but the host with an impromptu battle change-up.
