Trump says he can’t recall using insults against women, then attacks Fox’s

The Republican audience at Thursday’s presidential debate in Cleveland laughed when Donald Trump brushed aside any question of his use of demeaning terms for women by saying, falsely, that it was just about liberal entertainer Rosie O’Donnell.

Referring to Kelly’s questions, Trump told CNN in an interview late Friday, “There was blood coming out of her eyes, blood coming out of her wherever”.

Acknowledging the two do not always agree, leftist comedian Bill Maher recently offered praise for the unorthodox manner in which Donald Trump is handling his presidential campaign.

When doing so, he has repeatedly targeted women and their physical appearance.

“I would not have made that statement”, said Dr. Ada Fisher, a member of the Republican National Committee from Salisbury, N.C. “As a woman and a person with a compassionate heart, I try not to make points at the expense of someone else”.

“You don’t get things done by insulting people“.

Trump contended on CBS’ “Face the Nation” that it’s Bush who has the problem with women, thanks to a comment Bush made that last week when discussing cutting off federal money for Planned Parenthood. “I’ve been challenged by so many people, and I frankly don’t have time for total political correctness, and to be honest with you, this country doesn’t have time either”. “We’ll be fine. And so will America”.

Since arriving at Fox News in 2004, Kelly has broken out as a superstar. It’s a very difficult task to moderate a ten-candidate debate and it’s hard to imagine that anyone could ever do a better job of it than the three Fox News anchors tonight.

Fox News chairman Roger Ailes defended his moderators.

There she struck a different chord from the partisan hosts who surrounded her on the schedule, carving out an image as a calls-’em-as-she-sees-’em yet not-so-doctrinaire figure.

“It’s disrespectful to Megyn Kelly”, said Mr Erickson. “Obviously, I’m the only one going to raise my hand”. I’m not an ideologue…. It was a fair question.

Kelly has cultivated an image of speaking up in ways that have even run counter to Fox’s image.

He didn’t really answer her question. Kelly also interviewed the parents, Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar, for what was the family’s first discussion of the molestation episodes a dozen years before.

What he said at the debate: Trump did not mention the videos that have surfaced over the past few weeks, but he did say that he is “very proud” to say he is pro-life and that he hates “the concept of abortion”.

Trump has a long history of lobbing insults at those he feels have treated him unfairly, and advises those who buy his books to do the same. And honestly, Megyn, if you don’t like it, I’m sorry.

By Friday, Trump had seemingly decided to be less nice.

Clinton had to go to his (third) wedding, Trump said, because he had bought her attendance.

How will this affect the candidates’ standings with Republican caucusgoers and primary voters?

But Sunday, Trump remained defiant.

“That must be a pretty picture, you dropping to your knees”, Trump said in response.

Other Republican candidates, like Ohio Governor John Kasich, refused to be drawn into a controversy seen as damaging the party’s chances with women voters.
