As Trump’s campaign digs deeper into controversies, Clinton is on the rise

After a short speech to the over 1,000 journalists of color gathered in the nation’s capitol, Clinton’s first queries from the press dealt with her hesitance to speak with them. In other words, there are people who are voting for Trump – at least about 1 in 10 Americans – who nonetheless say they wouldn’t be proud to have him as president.

Trump also threw his support behind Arizona Sen. Kelly Ayotte 50% to 40%.

“We will have disagreements”, Trump said. “We’ve have a lot of great, great times because of our friendships.

Despite using a rigged poll by oversampling liberal voters, Hillary still can’t break 41% support in MI, because voters understand that Hillary Clinton represents a third Obama term”.

Trump’s campaign later released a web video highlighting the controversy over Clinton’s use of a private email server while leading the State Department, writing on Facebook that there is “no doubt” that Clinton “is a pathological liar”.

Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker skipped the evening rally, preferring to attend all-you-can-eat spaghetti dinner instead of appearing with his party’s standard bearer.

Trump pressed forward with his attacks on Clinton’s character during his next stop Friday night in Green Bay, Wisconsin. “We are Ryan Republicans here in Wisconsin, not Trump Republicans”. Having spent so many years denouncing Democrats in general and Clinton in particular, they have a hard time admitting that someone else could be much, much worse.

Democratic Presidential nominee Donald Trump had clearly emerged as victor when the Republican convention ended in Cleveland; his polls were rocketing higher. The Clintons attended the Trumps’ wedding.

Clinton and her running mate, Tim Kaine, have been traveling the country to discuss their jobs agenda, including a three-day bus tour across the Rust Belt following the Democratic National Convention.

Trump called his Democratic opponent “a risky liar”, “an unbalanced person”, “pretty close to unhinged”, “totally unfit to lead”, and lacking “the judgment, temperament and moral character to lead the country”.

True, a Clinton victory would mean a continuation of the center-left governance we’ve had under Barack Obama, which would be a big disappointment for those who want a turn to the right.

The charges came soon after Clinton addressed her own political vulnerabilities while facing a group of minority journalists in Washington.

Their concern? A belief that the numbers could dip – and could lull voters into a false belief that her campaign doesn’t need their support with the election still months away.

“I said ‘Mike, you like him?”

She also acknowledged many people don’t trust her.

“This is the last straw for me”, said Vera, part of the majority of young Sanders supporters on whom Clinton can not depend for votes, the survey found. When he has a speech he runs on and on and has a hard time reading something prepared. It would appear that after having so many gaffes and having offended so many people, Trump would take steps to maximize his time. The idea that Trump doesn’t prepare for his speeches, but tends to go off on any tangent he wants, can make you wonder if he is even taking his position seriously. Before the Democratic convention, Clinton was down by one, nationally. We really don’t know what kind of turnout we are looking at with both the Republican and Democrat candidates being so unpopular.
