LastPass Goes Free On Smartphones
On Tuesday, LastPass will try a different tactic by letting new users start on the platform of their choice and remain on that one for free. Prices start at $12 per year for a LastPass Premium account. Wherever you get started, you can use LastPass on that device, and any others of the same device type – desktops, smartphones, or tablets – for free!

A password manager allows you to have strong, unique passwords for each website you use, without even having to know what they are.
LastPass for Android is a free download from Google Play.
Likewise, you can install LastPass on an unlimited number of smartphones for free.
LastPass says it’s changing its first-time user strategy to better target how people are using technology.

Popular password manager LastPass is encouraging users to make the leap by making its service available free on mobile devices, including smartphones and tablets from today. We couldn’t call it all that much of a luxury, considering that at $12 a year, LastPass Premium costs about as much as a short trip on the Pennsylvania Turnpike. All of your data will be synchronized across as many desktops as you can use: so you can install LastPass on your home PC, work computer, and laptop and use the service without paying a penny.
