No Man’s Sky: NMS Tracker To Keep Track of Space Exploration
Ahead of No Man Sky’s release next week, a fan-made mobile app has surfaced on the Google Play store that boasts an array of handy features when exploring Hello Games’ forthcoming space sim. The app allows players to share screenshots from the game with the No Man’s Sky community, and generates names for creatures and planets players discover in-game.

You can also follow up to 50 players and view their latest discoveries right inside your Tracker dashboard page.
Many fans onReddit are appreciating the No Man’s Sky companion app NMS Ally. The same is true for No Man’s Sky studio Hello Games, so one fan has taken matters into his own hands.
One of the first apps that will be coming out is called NMS Ally, which is now only for Android but will be releasing on iOS soon. Besides bug fixes, it’s possible that aleator83 could update No Man’s Sky Ally to include new features as well, but that’s just speculation at this time.
While No Man’s Sky likely prides itself too much on exploration to put collectibles in the game (especially since that stuff would be impossible to complete considering the game world’s size) it can help some young app-makers exercise their creativity.
A few days before the official debut of No Man’s Sky, the anxiety caused by the vastness of the game world created for the space simulator begins to be felt to the point that a user has chose to create a special tool to keep a track of discoveries. Here’s what NMS Ally, the No Man’s Sky companion app can do for you.

No Man’s Sky will debut at August 10 on Playstation 4 and August 12 on PC.
