Manchester City Boss Pep Guardiola Impressed By Raheem Sterling

The new City manager’s praise will come as a boost to the 21-year-old Sterling, who faces increased competition for a first-team spot this season following the signings of Nolito and Leroy Sane.

And Guardiola has opened about the lengths he has gone to in order to try and breed immediate success from his charges at City.

“Of course Sterling likes to play on the left, but that is when it is good to know the players”.

“Eat with them, talk to them, train with them, get to know them”.

Manchester City begin their Premier League campaign at home to Sunderland on August 13 under pep Guardiola. “I think tactically he’s going to change a few things”.

He said: “The first step is to try to help each other, go forward and be aggressive without the ball”.

New manager Pep Guardiola aims to sign a new number one seeing that he is not a big fan of Joe Hart and the Portugal hotshot has emerged as his top target.

“He isn’t fit. There’s a little problem with his hamstring, he hasn’t made it to a training session yet, so he’s not here”.
