Trump bombast overshadows GOP challenges with women

At a news conference following her town hall meeting in Exeter, Clinton singled out U.S. Sen.

“And you take somebody like Governor Walker of Wisconsin, who seems to be delighting in slashing the investment in higher education in his state; in making it more hard for students to get scholarships or to pay off their debt; eliminating the opportunities for young people who are doctors or dentists to actually work in underserved areas in return for having their debt relieved; ending scholarships for poor kids; and most surprisingly to me, rejecting legislation that would have made it tax-deductible for you on your income tax to deduct the amount of your loan payment”, Clinton said. She refused to say if one debate in New Hampshire – on December. 19 – is adequate.

WASHINGTON (AP) – Hillary Rodham Clinton says she didn’t know Donald Trump very well when she attended his 2005 wedding but thought the event would be “fun” and “entertaining”.

Trump signalled campaign changes are afoot, including the departure of long-time strategist Roger Stone, who reportedly urged Trump to lay out a political agenda rather than focus on sniping. “And I believe that irrespective of the conditions by which that life was conceived or anything else”, Rubio said.

On Tuesday, though, Clinton finished her remarks on education and Republicans by simply saying, “I am looking forward to debating on these issues”.

But Rubio admitted during last Thursday night’s debate in Cleveland that Clinton had more experience than him.

In New Hampshire, Clinton fielded questions on Trump, a potential Democratic challenge from Vice President Joe Biden and the current Democratic candidates’ calls for more primary debates. I think the Republicans have a strong field.

“Because that’s a very common statement”, Trump said on Sunday.

“This is really good”, Clinton campaign manager Robby Mook said after watching Rubio’s response.

Graham, the South Carolina senator who, like Trump, is seeking the GOP presidential nomination, hit Trump over his harsh words on women and undocumented immigrants in an interview with CNN’s Brianna Keilar on Monday. Trump is hardly unique in this regard – remember Senate Environment Committee Chair James Inhofe (R-Okla.) and his snowball – but Trump is the only top-tier Republican presidential candidate who subscribes to it.

Currently, he’s battling for a small segment of the American population – people who vote in the Republican primary race, says Heather Cox Richardson, a history professor at Boston College. He also suggested health care savings accounts as an alternative to Obamacare.

“I’m not going to get into scheduling”, Clinton said. “I didn’t know him that well”, she said. I’m not saying The Donald is the next Ronald Reagan – he’s not, as his underlying ideology and his inarticulateness show – but he does project that same image of self-confidence, assurance, and masculinity.

A spokeswoman said Mr. Trump is now accepting donations because his campaign was being inundated with five or ten-dollar donations from supporters who want to help. “And I will respect that”.
