A new trailer for Mariah’s World is now available to view and the show will premiere on America’s E! network on Sunday 4 December (16). The series will detail her 2016 concert tour kick off details as well as her marriage plans to Australian billionaire James Packer, the Associated Press reported.
It’s no secret that Mariah Carey didn’t enjoy her stint as a judge on American Idol. “I don’t know if he makes the final cut”.
Surprisingly (or, hell, maybe not!), the 8-episode E! series seems rather interesting. “So we are still in the process of filming and getting more real moments”. They don’t know her, and it takes a lot of time to get to know the real Mariah, or perhaps anyone for that matter.
Carey, who’s used to being in total control of her image, said she found it hard to drop her guard while shooting the series. “That’s two questions, and that’s nearly as high as I can count”, she told one reporter.
The singer described her time on the programme as “the most abusive experience”.
The singer then took a large swig of her champagne and added: ‘And by the way, you’ve just driven me to drink’.
Entering the stage with a team of shirtless men, Carey moved to a purple chaise, sat down and asked reporters to “tell me if there’s any issues going on over here”, as she pointed to her fishnet-clad legs.
The short video goes on to showcase Mariah doing prank calls, preparing for her tour and playing with her kids, Moroccan and Monroe, in a jungle gym. “Anybody else want a touch up?”
Hopefully, Mariah’s World will show at least a bit of what Carey is all about, whether it is a reality commonly defined or not. I was extremely skeptical when it was announced our favorite diva would be slumming it in reality TV.
And that is what Carey is really like, E!
From the very beginning, we see her sitting at home on a lounge chair in a black corset and heels. But I just have to figure out mutually with Nick how much we really want them in the show.
