The LSU Tigers stand at No. 6, meanwhile. LSU, Stanford, Michigan, Notre Dame and Tennessee, in that order, round out the top 10. The team is losing a ton of talent including ACC Defensive Player of the Year and All-American safety Jeremy Cash and All-ACC center Matt Skura.

At least with our preseason ranking lower than previous year, the national expectations appear to be lower. In fact, I think they have a really good shot at winning the SEC East, and should they do that, I’ve no doubt that they’ll be ranked in the top 10.
