As it stands, only three episodes of Hitman‘s first season have been released – Paris, Sapienza and Marrakesh – with three more to come later this year. One fan took to Twitter to ask about the future of the series once its current run has been completed, and the response from IO Interactive is good news for anyone who’s been enjoying its new format.
The official Twitter account of Hitman responded “Of course, our plan is to have three seasons”. Even a second season is yet to be confirmed, according to a report from Eurogamer.
There’s four episodes remaining in season one, with the fourth of seven hitting on August 16 and set in Bangkok, Thailand.
Io Interactive will then launch a retail edition comprising all of this season’s missions sometime in early 2017.
