A Namibian boxer is the second athlete to be arrested at the Rio Olympics Athletes Village accused of the sexual assault of a housemaid.

It is the second time an athlete, and a boxer, has been arrested for sexual assault or rape at the village. “He grabbed her from behind and gave her a kiss on the neck”, police spokeswoman Carolina Salomao told G1.
Junius and Saada’s arrests are hopefully the last time we hear about athletes allegedly acting criminally towards Olympic staff members.
Jonas was to fight Frenchman Hassan Amzile on Thursday in the light welterweight class.
Jonas proceeded to make sexually suggestive gestures and offer the woman money, Salomao said.
Olympic officials in Rio have commented on the incident, but were unable to specify the exact charges Junius will be facing.

According to the Brazilian Criminal Code, a crime of rape occurs if the author forces the victim to have sexual intercourse, to practice lewd acts or forces the victim into performing a sexual act. The Rio 2016 committee spokesperson said it is a police investigation and they would be following the case.
