Curt Schilling Says He’s Going to Run for President ‘Soon’
Off-hand comment, or actual plan?

After predictably denouncing the “fraudulent” Democratic party on his Facebook page, the former Red Sox pitcher and ardent Donald Trump supporter got into a discussion with his followers about the upcoming election.
Curt Schilling has three World Series rings, was twice named Sports Illustrated’s “Sportsman of the Year”, and once auctioned off his dirty laundry for almost $100,000.
I’m all for people speaking their minds, but Schilling really should stick to baseball. In the comments section below, a Facebook user suggested, “You running is quite the idea”.
In 2009, Schilling admitted that running for the Senate would be “fun.” In a previous Twitter comment, he suggested a campaign for U.S. Rep. Joe Kennedy III’s seat could be in the cards.
That trajectory sounds improbable at best in blue-as-can-be MA.
Because in a post-Trump world, who can’t run for office?
Curt Schilling, a 6-time MLB All Star and current professional Facebook meme-sharer, announced on Sunday that he’s considering a political career.
