Olympic Presenter’s Skirt Sends the Internet Into a Tizzy
Alongside former Olympic gold medallist Rebecca Adlington and former world champion Mark Foster, Skelton wore revealing black and red dresses.

Helen Skelton-Myler is now in Rio reporting on the Olympics for the BBC and thanks to her recent coverage of the swimming she’s inadvertently proved sexism is alive and well.
In 2012 Helen made headlines after flashing her underwear as her dress flew up during the London Olympic Parade.
And others came out in her defence, with one pointing out that Rio’s not exactly the sort of place that you’d want to wear a pair of wooly tights.
Yvette Cooper told BuzzFeed News that the press should focus on the talents of the women athletes and presenters at the Rio games, rather than their looks.
One woman dissed the host: “I’m not sure I like Helen Skelton Blue Peter presenting on the Olympics coverage”.
While one gent crudely commented: “Whom ever at the BBC has dressed @HelenSkelton tonight your knighthood is in the post!”
Helen’s followers rushed to join in on the joke, with one user quipping: “You doing a bit of match-making Helen?”
But the duo weren’t the only ones who got people talking as Helen Skelton’s short skirt also became a talking point, with some claiming her choice of outfit was inappropriate.
She shot to fame presenting Blue Peter in 2008 and has taken on a various number of challenges and excursions for charity.
She had been planning on taking her son, one-year-old Ernie, to Rio with her, but that her and rugby player husband Richie Myler decided it wasn’t worth the risk.

Luckily, the sporty star was able to pull off the accident with aplomb, yanking her dress down quickly and smiling as though nothing had happened.
