The PM had also revealed 80% Cow Vigilantes are fake and asked the State Governments to identify and punish such people.
The PM said he salute real “gau rakshaks” and “gau sevaks” and appealed to them to come forward to expose fake “gau rakshaks“.

After the prime minister asked states to act against the cow vigilantes, on Monday, the Punjab police lodged an FIR against Satish Kumar, chief of the “Gau Raksha Dal”, a vigilante outfit known for perpetrating violence against those who they accuse of threatening cows.
