The report also explained that the new iPhone’s dual camera set-up means that users may be able to snap both pixel-dense ad wide-angle images at once.

Gorman is also shedding some additional details on the dual cameras, which are widely reported to make an appearance exclusively on the 5.5-inch iPhone 7 Plus. You could expect a phone with a 4.7-inch screen that could possibly be the iPhone 7 and another 5.5-inch model which would become the iPhone 7 Plus. Now, with the rather real looking video on hand on the web, these old rumors are gaining some credibility.

Apple has yet to officially announce the new phone, or set a date for the event where it will unveil the device. Bloomberg reports that it’s similar to the trackpads on the latest MacBooks.

Apple may have been working on two prototypes for the larger iPhone 7, the rumor has since been shot down several times by the brand’s spokesperson as well as, by reliable tipster Evan Blass.

It was first thought that the new iPhone 7 will have two versions following the numbering scheme of the iPhone family.

The iPhone 7 and the iPhone 7 Plus will be launched sometime in September, possibly in the early weeks of the month. Apple has removed the headphone jack from the iPhone 7 (as was previously rumored), putting a second speaker in its place.

Some observers speculated that Apple would release an iPhone with a dual camera past year when the company acquired LinX, an Israeli startup that specializes in making sensors that capture multiple images at once. According to a new report, though, Apple’s next iPhone could have a couple of major changes.

The dual system improve the quality of photos taken in low-light environments.

But what is also interesting in Gurman’s report is that it doesn’t use the word iPhone 7, and instead sticks with the phrase new iPhone.
