The wedding ceremony took place at their Bel-Air home and was also attended by a few celebrities; the duo tried hard to keep their union a secret and was nearly successful at doing so. Theroux’s friend and tattoo artist Scott Campbell (who’s married to actress Lake Bell) was the best man, reports People.
According to TMZ, the couple had a large shed built on their million-dollar property over the past week, so all furniture and wedding supplies could be hidden from view. Aniston’s “Friends” co-stars Courteney Cox and Lisa Kudrow were on hand for the festivities, along with amusing gal BFF Chelsea Handler.
The joyous occasion shocked fans of the couple … and even their party guests!
The pair said “I do” on the grounds of their attractive estate Wednesday night, sources confirmed to the Daily News Thursday.
They had appeared together in the comedy Wanderlust earlier that year. They got engaged in August 2012, and have essentially been dodging speculation about when they will get married – or if they have already – ever since.
The Cougar Town actress was Jennifer’s top choice for the ceremonial role at her secret wedding.
Speaking about her relationship with the star at a dinner held in his honour last year she said: “He’s just so beautiful and handsome to me”.
