The Mercedes-AMG S63 sets new standards in terms of driving dynamics, lightweight construction, efficiency and bespoke craftsmanship, he said. The fully customised Mercedes-AMG S 63 sedan is priced at Rs 2.53 crore (ex-showroom Bengaluru).
The exclusivities of the new S Class AMG sedan have been carried forward to the inside as well.
Kern said, “This is our tenth launch of the year and we have been able to create a lot of excitement for the brand in a market that is gradually showing signs of improvement”.
On the outside, the new S 63 comes with AMG’s aggressive style body kit along with massive chrome grille and sharp dual bean projector headlamps.
After a host of rumors and discussions, Mercedes-Benz has finally launched S63 Sedan in the Indian market.
Ever since Mercedes-Benz has officially pulled the wraps off the S63 AMG Coupe, the 3-pointed star’s fans have kept asking about a convertible version and with the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show coming in pretty fast, chances are we will get to see it during the German automotive event. Comfort and Sport modes have been provided so that the driver can adjust the suspension and steering manually.
Mechanically, just like the S63 coupe, the sedan will feature a twin turbo V8 engine that makes 585PS of peak power and 900Nm of peak torque, all of which goes through a seven-speed AMG spec gearbox to the rear wheels.

Customers can also customise their S 63 using Mercedes Benz’s recently launched “designo” platform which offers a choice of hundreds of combinations of exterior colours, interior upholstery, design trim elements and others. “We are confident of our strong growth momentum in the Indian market”, he added.
