Caitlyn Jenner’s liberating bathing suit experience

This week’s episode of I Am Cait picks up where last week’s left off – Caitlyn getting an education. For Caitlyn, it’s not by any stretch of the imagination something she’s given much thought to.

The former Olympian previously revealed she didn’t have immediate plans to have the procedure.

Roughly one month after her big public debut on the cover of Vanity Fair, Caitlyn Jenner is fully living her life as a woman, bouncing from social engagements to business meetings and filming everything along the way.

“I wanna hear what it’s like to date as a trans woman in our community”, Cayne said.

“I’ve only been with women”. “Everybody is a little bit cautious”, said Ms. Richards, verbalizing many trans people’s reactions to Ms. Jenner’s attempt to position herself as a community leader. Chandi, always good for a voice of reason and a subtle wig change, notes that while Cait can’t save the world, she can at least help one person at a time. Caitlyn made the remark that people on social programs often made more there than they would working a job.

“Get to know us”, she said.

She also had a message for other transgender individuals and anyone struggling with their sexual identity.

“I am really enjoying the peace and quiet up here”, Caitlyn explained. Several members of that group unambiguously schooled Caitlyn on the heartbreaking realities many transgender people face, realities that she will likely not have to worry about. “Come down and see about everybody else”.

A friend then demanded all of the women at the table to raise their hand, if they are more attracted to men. Talk of structural inequalities follow – Alison Gill notes that trans people live in extreme poverty at rates four times higher than the general population. But I would love to be wrong.
