It was widely reported that Hrithik Roshan is in talks with Dhoom 3 director, Vijay Krishna Acharya, for his upcoming action bonanza, Thug.
We further hear that Victor wrote an entirely new script for the PK actor and made sure it was different from what he had offered to Duggu. So, everyone was wondering which film will Aamir say yes to after “Dangal” hits the screens this year in December. “It is an ambitious project, no doubt”. Apart from Aamir, Amitabh Bachchan has also been cast to be a part of Thug.
Acharya went back to the drawing board, rewrote the entire script which is an adaptation of Phillip Meadow Taylor’s book, Confessions of a Thug.

An official announcement of the casting is expected closer to when the shooting begins. Set in the pre-Independence era, it chronicles the widespread “thug” culture of that time.
