The computer system is back up and departures have resumed, the carrier said, but the aftereffects of the chaos are still being felt.

The airline says customers are being provided with hotel rooms and other accommodations for overnight stays where available.

Paul International Airport this morning, part of its broader effort to get planes and crews back in place after Monday’s power outage and computer system shutdown. “Delta’s investigation into the causes is ongoing”, the company said. Ryan Shannon, whose flight from Lexington, Kentucky, on Monday was delayed, said passengers boarded, were told to exit, waited about 90 minutes, then got back on the plane and flew to NY without further incident.
