Although there has been no confirmation as to how many betas the company will release before working on finalizing the Gold Master version of the software, Apple released the final beta for iOS 9 around this time past year. There may be a few new features here and there that will begin to surface as developers poke around, however. Setup Assistant no longer walks you though your iCloud preferences.
The iOS developer beta is available in Settings General Software Update.
The final build of iOS 10, macOS Sierra, tvOS 10 and watchOS 3 will land in September alongside new hardware from Apple. And Microsoft OneDrive can now store its credentials in Keychain.
Registered developers running the beta of macOS Sierra can find the update in the Mac App Store. Tap on “Download and Install” and wait for the installation to complete.
Apple’s iOS 10 offers a number of new features for users including a redesigned Apple Music, Photos, Messages, and Maps app along with third-party developer support for Siri and more. The new Universal Clipboard will even allow users to copy images, video, or text on an iOS device, and paste those items on a nearby Mac.
