Julian Assange seems to suggests on Dutch television program Nieuwsuur that Seth Rich was the source for the Wikileaks-exposed DNC emails and was murdered.

The slaying of the 27-year-old staffer, who was shot to death as he walked home in Northwest D.C. near Howard University Hospital, shocked the people who worked with him at the DNC, and the community at large.

WikiLeaks hasn’t publicly commented on its motivation for wanting the information, but the site certainly has not been a friend to the Democratic Party in recent months.

It was not immediately clear what motivated WikiLeaks to offer the reward money.
