Parents of Two Benghazi Victims File Wrongful Death Suit Against Hillary Clinton
On Monday, the parents of two Americans killed in the 2012 terrorist attack at the USA diplomatic outpost in Libya filed a wrongful death lawsuit against Hillary Clinton in federal court.

“In the suit, Patricia Smith and Charles Woods, the parents of Sean Smith and Tyrone Woods, claim that Clinton’s use of a private e-mail server contributed to the attacks”.
Clinton’s actions surrounding the Benghazi tragedy were the subject of numerous investigations by congressional Republicans, but none found her directly at fault, though the existence of her private email server was revealed in the process. Their sons, State Department employee Sean Smith and security contractor Tyrone Woods, respectively, were among those killed.
The two parents contend that since Clinton announced she was running for president in the 2016 election, she has defamed the plaintiffs by calling them “liars” either directly or indirectly. That report found no new evidence of wrongdoing by Mrs. Clinton, who said afterward she thought it was “time to move on” from an investigation that had taken on a “partisan tinge”.
Clinton is the first woman to be nominated by a major party in America’s 240-year-old history and has recently surged in the polls following a series of gaffes by Trump.
The parents of two Americans killed in attacks in Benghazi, Libya, say in a lawsuit that Hillary Clinton is responsible for the deaths of their children.
Clinton issued a statement through her presidential campaign pointing out the litany of executive branch and congressional probes into the Benghazi disaster. A Clinton campaign official said “he has been unsuccessfully attacking the Clintons for decades”.
The two Americans, along with a third staffer and US Ambassador to Libya Christopher Stevens, were killed in September 2012 when an armed mob attacked and set fire to the US diplomatic compound in Benghazi during a protest against an amateur film deemed offensive to the Prophet Muhammad. Smith was a San Diego native, who attended Mission Bay High School.
The Democratic presidential nominee is facing a wrongful death lawsuit stemming from her time as Secretary of State.

Those details, the suit argued, could have been obtained by “hostile adversaries” who may have hacked her server and ultimately led to their sons’s deaths. She stressed that she is not a party to the lawsuit. The federal lawsuit, filed Monday, comes from Patricia Smith of San Diego, whose son Sean Smith was a U.S. State Department technology officer, and Charles Woods of Portland, Ore., whose son Tyrone Woods was Central Intelligence Agency security contractor.
