Trevor Noah Agrees With Donald Trump That The Election Is Rigged
“The Daily Show” host uncovers concrete evidence that the 2016 election is, as Donald Trump claims, ‘rigged’.

“Donald Trump is right”, Daily Show host Trevor Noah said on Monday’s episode. Trump has said and done so many insane things in the past week that it’s hard to keep up (and unfair to comedians), Noah said, “but even with all the babies and the titles, there’s one thing Donald Trump said last week that we should not be glossing over”, his warning that the 2016 election will be “rigged”.
“What? So you’re saying that predominantly poor, black neighborhoods didn’t vote for the rich, white guy?”
“What he does is he always makes sure that he gives us so much fun insane to talk about that we miss the risky insane”, he said.
Noah uses a montage of news reel videos highlighting Republicans re-drawing the district lines in 2010, which effectively resulted in them sending more members to Congress despite less of the popular vote. “For instance, there is something I discovered, it’s called gerrymandering”, Noah said, in a segment you can watch here. “That’s what this is”.
But first, Noah had to talk about how Donald Trump managed to work the word “titties” into his big economic speech in Detroit earlier in the day. “Elections in America are rigged”.

“You’ve been hearing me say it’s a rigged system, but now I don’t say it anymore because I won”, Trump told his roaring crowd at the time. The host went on to highlight the recent ruling that found that North Carolina Republicans enacted voter ID laws with the express objective of keeping Black people out of the voting booth. But that doesn’t mean he’ll be supporting Trump, and that didn’t stop him from pointing out the candidate’s humorous contradiction after he won the Republican primaries. “Now I don’t care”.
