BioShock: The Collection ‘Revisit Rapture’ trailer
Nearly ten years on from the moment Irrational Games swung open the majestic doors to Rapture, 2K has today unveiled a new trailer for BioShock: The Collection, touting the revamped graphics for all three core titles. The closest description came in the initial announcement, which stated: “The weapons, plasmids, levels, and character models that shocked you years ago have been reskinned and retextured to look better than ever”.

“Revisit Rapture”, 2K Games’ footage for BioShock: The Collection focuses primarily on the underwater Art Deco atmospheres found within the first installment in the franchise, as it shows off how the environments of Andrew Ryan’s city of Rapture will look with the compendium’s updated graphics.
All three games will run at 1080p and 60 frames per second on Xbox One and PS4.
You’ll also be privy to a director’s commentary track featuring insight from series creator Ken Levine.
Additionally, PC players may be able to get The Collection free.
The Collection includes remastered versions of BioShock, BioShock 2, and BioShock Infinite.
BioShock has a timeless quality. If you already own BioShock, BioShock 2, and/or the Minerva’s Den BioShock 2 DLC on Steam, you can get a free upgrade to the remastered versions of the games.
