Officers found Bludson at a motel in Newark on Tuesday, Police Chief James Batelli said in an email.

The bag of cash had been accidentally left on a curb along Industrial Avenue on July 27 by two workers for an ATM company.
Police believe Bludson was captured on surveillance video grabbing the bag of cash that the ATM employees forgot outside a business in Mahwah, in northern New Jersey, on July 27.
Harvey admitted driving the van and told detectives that he purchased a Chevrolet Tahoe with some of the cash from the bag soon after it was grabbed, Batelli said.
The other suspect in the bag’s theft, Alton Harvey, 42, of Hillside, was arrested a few days after the alleged crime. Additional people who “hindered the investigation” may also be charged, Batelli also said.
UPDATE: One of two men who Mahwah police said stole a satchel filled with $150,000 that was inadvertently left on the street by employees of a company that delivers money to ATM machines was arrested after he bought a new truck…

Video footage from cameras at area businesses showed a man getting out of white van and taking the satchel before taking used tires from a nearby business, police said. He’s being held at the Bergen County Jail in lieu of $125,000 bail.
