We’ve been informed that we can’t release the game on this platform until it has been finished. The game started off as a PC-exclusive title, released through Steam Early Access past year in June. It also has an Xbox One version, which can be accessed through the console’s Game Preview feature.
It’s amusing because Paragon is also now in early access but can be played on PS4 through a starter kit (and if it’s not an early access, why is there an open beta planned for later?).
As for the PS4 Release of ARK: Survival Evolved, it is now up to Sony. They wanted to see how the changes would develop in the long term, without making hasty decisions about it.
