PC version of No Man’s Sky has been slightly delayed

“When we went gold five or six week ago”, Sean Murray, No Man’s Sky creator posted on the official No Man’s Sky website, “we posted on twitter, and literally every reply was like “hope you are going on a nice holiday!”. In addition, the loophole, which allowed early players to finish the game in almost 30 hours, has been taken out. Sean Murray, founder of Hello Games, tweeted out the news about the delay, stating that they’re making sure that the PC version is the best version it can be and they don’t want to make any mistakes.

Unlike any other game, No Man’s Sky gives you the freedom to explore an entire universe full of procedurally generated planets.

Those that had been playing the game have already uploaded 160,000 discoveries and there will be plenty more when the game launches on Playstation 4 tomorrow. However, for those players who got the pre-launched copy of the game will be shocked over unrevealed reasons. Murray said that the new update would be available to reviewers today once it exits the submission process.

In addition, the universe generation algorithm has been updated to ensure players experience a greater variety of planets and creatures earlier than before. Hello Games also underwent some server wipes to remove early player save files, which means that those who have started earlier have to alternative but to start again from the beginning.

Within the update, there are new ways that you can join in the adventure of No Man’s Sky. Prior to the August rollout, “No Man’s Sky” is originally expected to release in 2015, though Hello Games said that they are shooting for a mid-2016 rollout. If you decide to play it, you’ll see just how closely it plays to those trailers, and to our original vision.

While Hello Games won’t be killing our wallets with paid DLC, they also won’t make PC players wait until midnight to play the game. Galaxies are now up to 10x larger, there are planets with dead moons, low atmosphere, or that are even extremely hazardous. “Lots of new features, balancing and content”.
