West Ham seals £20.5m deal for Andre Ayew
“He was a very big part of me joining the club”, Ayew told the club’s official website. Following the arrival of Llorente on Friday, the Swans could bolster their strikeforce further with the arrival of a 23 year-old frontman who scored 18 goals in 36 appearances in La Liga last season.

West Ham United have completed their sixth signing of the summer, completing the club-record capture of Swansea City’s Andre Ayew. “I am happy to be playing for these fans and I hope to make the people very happy here”, Ayew said after signing the contract.
Carroll already played both games this season against Domzale in the Europa League qualifications, recording an assist in Thursday’s 3-0 win at Olympic Stadium.
West Ham manager, Slaven Bilic, had been looking to strengthen his forward options ahead of the new season especially as he prepares for life without Diafra Sakho left the club for West Bromwich Albion.
“With the season we had last season, everyone knows West Ham is a club which is going to compete and we need to be ready for that”.
West Ham may face a battle to hold onto France playmaker Dimitri Payet, though, after his impressive displays in the Premier League and at Euro 2016.
Despite Swansea’s struggles, Ayew managed to score an impressive 12 goals throughout the course of the campaign, and following his exploits it was no surprise whatsoever in seeing a host of clubs expressing their interest in signing the Ghanaian global this summer.
He follows winger Sofiane Feghouli, defender Havard Nordtveit, striker Toni Martinez and left back Arthur Masuaku.
