Usain Bolt Had a Bizarre Final Olympics Press Conference
The Jamaican sprinter Usain Bolt, on Tuesday, said that Rio will certainly be his last Olympics.

Bolt, a six-time Olympic gold medalist, is feeling confident as he attempts to become the first runner to win the 100-meter, 200-meter and 4×100-meter events.
Bolt said lowering his 200-metre record, which stands at 19.19 seconds, below the 19 mark, is something he wants.
Since Rio will be his last Olympics, Usain Bolt wanted to make sure that his final press conference with Team Jamaica was special.
It is seven years now since Bolt ran his world records – 9.58 for 100m and 19.19 for 200m – in Berlin, also, coincidentally, on a blue track.
Rodgers, reacting to news that Bolt would skip the Jamaican Olympic trials after receiving a medical exemption, stating that Bolt’s withdrawal was a “cop out” and that he wishes he gets beaten so someone could “put him in his place”.
“I think we are going in the right direction”, he said. “They said we would get one but after two days one hadn’t turned up so I said I’ll just buy one!”
Although the Russian doping scandal exposed the sophisticated lengths that drug cheats were prepared to go to avoid detection, Bolt said he was unconcerned about the possibility that he might be lining up against rivals in Rio who aren’t clean. In the 100, American sprinter Justin Gatlin was even with Bolt going into the final 20 meters, but Gatlin lost his composure and stumbled to the finish line.
The spectacle was appropriate for Bolt, who considers himself both sprinter and entertainer. I just go out there and compete. I definitely try not to sit around and think about people.
“He thinks the time would have been 19.01 or 19.02, I think we would have been around 18.99, so we differ on that”, the American said.
It will be an intense week for Bolt who could run as many as eight races over just seven days and the Jamaican admits there’s a sense of relief that his lifelong Olympic mission is nearly complete.
The 29-year-old superstar athlete will be back on the track and all eyes will be on him first on the eve of Sunday, Aug.14, as he competes for a third straight 100m Olympic gold title.
“I think it’s going to be a little bit harder because I missed out on trials and a week of training in the last part of the season”.
“I’ve got to prove myself over and over again”.
“The moment you start thinking about [not winning] then you start going the wrong way so for me I always think positive”.

Speaking of which, Bolt hasnt ruled out a goal he set a long time ago to better his record of 19.19 seconds in his favorite race, the 200.
